About Speedman Press

We are a small yet professional publisher and publishing services house, with a modest yet growing number of titles, and a service offering that will appeal to historians in the fields of aviation and military history, and also to family historians.

Our goal will never be to push out high volumes of poor quality tomes but to work with organizations and individuals who have histories that need to be told and either be put into the public domain or made available to a private group. We can help by taking over the entire publishing process or can provide tailor made editing, proof-reading, typesetting and indexing services.

We originally came into being in 2008 to distribute and sell Fly With The Stars after the original publisher went into administration just weeks after the book was launched. Authors Susan and Ian Ottaway decided to reclaim their rights to the book and Speedman Press now holds and controls the existing stocks of the book and are making it available through usual wholesale and retail channels.
